Is DeepSeek using banned chips?
Wang claimed that the startup was using Nvidia’s banned chips in its operations, reported The Express US. While it is considered that DeepSeek has used Nvidia’s lower-performing H800 chips, as per reports.
He also alleged that workers at DeepSeek were unable to openly discuss the matter as the US government has imposed export controls on the sale of advanced semiconductors to Chinese companies, reported The Express US.
