US Vice President Kamala Harris has eventually taken a significant hit, revealed a recent Economist/YouGov poll which was conducted in the month of December, reported The Sacramento Bee.
According to The Sacramento Bee, her favorability rating has eventually dropped to 43% while 52% are viewing her pretty unfavorably which is a sharp decline from a peak of 49% in the month of August during the Democratic National Convention. Whereas, during recent days, in comparison, US President Joe Biden holds a lower favorability at 38% while US President- elect Donald Trump enjoys a favorable rating of 49%.

The poll certainly highlights that the economic concerns have become a decisive factor for US voters across all sorts of demographic lines while many are attributing their choice to the economic messaging of Donald Trump, asserted The Sacramento Bee. Notably, Donald Trump has already received favorable responses from 49% of respondents which indicate a pretty strong coalition that Kamala Harris struggled to match.
In the state of California, the certification of statewide election results has been delayed while raising questions about whether state lawmakers should be sworn in before all votes are counted, noted The Sacramento Bee. Secretary of State named Shirley Weber eventually acknowledged the challenges posed by this process but defended the commitment of the state to ensure that every vote
