Jason Kelce's weight loss journey since NFL retirement
Since retiring from the NFL last year, Jason Kelce has reportedly lost 20 lbs. His current weight stands at 276.6 lbs. Jason also shared that he underwent a bone density scan in order to give a tough fight to Allen. Bone density scans, also known as DEXA (dual X-ray absorptiometry), measure bone density with the help of a high- and low-energy X-ray beam. The beam is passed through the body, typically in the spine and the hip.
A bone density scan can help a person figure out their body composition. It reveals the breakdown of muscle mass, body fat percentage, and bone mass. Speaking about the results of his bone density scan, Jason Kelce said it indicated the presence of a «lot of fat».
