Jimmy Kimmel sums up Oscars 2025 in his show, jokes about Adrian Brody’s speech: Here’s what he said
Jimmy Kimmel has been a popular choice to host the Academy Awards, one of the most significant awards shows in the Hollywood and entertainment world. But he chose to skip the Oscars 2025.
While the audience might have missed Kimmel’s verbal punches and jokes on Sunday night, the anchor presented his own version of the Oscars’ summary at his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Los Angeles not only witnessed the Academy Awards on March 2, but also experienced an earthquake. Kimmel summed up the situation with his light take, noting that no one was hurt on due to earthquake as the heavy doses of Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Botox has ensured that no body parts get jiggled up for the attendees of the Oscars.
Jimmy Kimmel on Adrian Brody’s speech
While Adrian Brody is in news for his victory in the Best Actor category for his work in The Brutalist, there is another reason to talk about the star. The actor delivered the longest acceptance speech in the history of Oscars, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
Taking a dig at the winner’s long speech, Kimmel jokingly mentioned that Brody is still wrapping it up. He called it “even longer than that freeform poetry dram Will Smith did after karate slapping Chris Rock.”
