Mooney, who led commercial banking for Australia and New Zealand, is expected to take a break from corporate life to focus on her young family, sources said on Monday.
A former PwC dealmaker, Mooney joined JPMorgan in 2019. At the time, JPMorgan’s Asia-Pacific head of corporate client banking, Pravin Advani, said he saw “significant growth opportunities for midcap companies in Australia and New Zealand.”
Mooney was previously head of PwC’s national financial sponsors group, based in Sydney. She’s also had stints at Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Nomura and law firm Ashurst.
