Joel Chalhoub was an executive director at Credit Suisse, and has 12 years of experience including at Jefferies, Lazard and Rothschild. The second hire, Luka Gvozdenovic was an associate.
At JPMorgan they would be reunited with their former boss Foy, who was drafted in as the Wall Street bank’s head of infrastructure in late July.
Foy’s spent more than a decade at key roles in investment banking. Before joining Credit Suisse in early 2022, he was Jefferies’ head of infrastructure for three years, and served as RBC Capital Markets’ infrastructure and M&A head across a 13-year stint.
The hires indicate JPMorgan’s local outpost, now led by seasoned infrastructure banker Julian Peck, is keen to ramp up its presence in infrastructure deals.
