Kartik Aaryan watches 'Gadar 2' in theatres, can't stop hooting during Sunny Deol's iconic hand-pump scene
Sunny Deol dug out a hand-pump to fight the people who were against his love? Who doesn't? Twenty-two years later, the superstar recreated the same sequence for the unstoppable 'Gadar 2', directed by Anil Sharma. It is one of the classic Bollywood scenes that is engraved in people's minds, including Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan's. Dressed in a white shirt, the actor watched the show at the Gaeity Galaxy cinema in Mumbai recently.
The 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' star recently went to catch Deol in action in the epic 'Gadar 2' that has been making waves at the box-office since its release on August 11. While Deol is reprising his iconic character of Tara Singh, Ameesha Patel returned as Sakeena in the film after more than two decades. Sharing a glimpse of the movie, the 32-year-old actor revealed that he had a fanboy moment in theatres when the recreated iconic handpump scene came on the big screen.
He couldn't stop hooting and cheering when the scene appeared. «This iconic scene. Just a fanboy in me screaming n shouting for Tara Singh,» he wrote alongside the brief video.
'Gadar 2' is a sequel to the hit film which was released in theatres in 2001 — set during the partition of India in 1947. Set in 1971, 'Gadar 2' follows Tara to Pakistan as he attempts to rescue his son Charanjeet aka Jeetey, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured by the Pakistani Army. The movie has performed exceptionally and breached the Rs 300 crore mark in the domestic market.
