The gala’s theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” inspired Kardashian to don a custom Maison Margiela corset, designed by John Galliano. The waist-cinching garment paired with a metallic skirt, adorned with intricate floral and pearl embellishments, turned heads on the red carpet. But as Kardashian later confessed, the price of beauty was more than she had bargained for.
