Hyderabad, a Lamborghini Gallardo, valued at nearly Rs 1 crore, was intentionally set ablaze. This shocking incident unfolded as a consequence of a heated business dispute between two car resellers.
As per a TOI report, citing police sources, Neeraj, one of the involved resellers who had purchased the high-end vehicle from its original owner, lodged a complaint. The alleged perpetrator, identified as Ahmed, arranged a meeting with Neeraj on Saturday to resolve their differences. However, the altercation spiraled out of control, leading Ahmed to ignite the car, leaving it consumed by flames. Firefighters arrived at the scene, but the Lamborghini had already suffered extensive damage, captured in a circulating video on the internet.
The vehicle in question, a Gallardo Spyder, despite being an older generation model commonly found in resale markets, boasted a formidable 5-liter NA V10 engine, generating 513 hp and 510 Nm of torque.
In 2013, the renowned Italian automaker ceased production of the Gallardo, making way for the more contemporary Huracán model. This transition marked the end of an era, with the Huracán assuming both the mantle and the assembly line at Lamborghini's factory in Sant'Agata in Bolognese, Italy.
