The gala is set to take place on the eve of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia next year, 16 May 2024, and will bring together the financial services and business community for a performance of Sister Act, fearing Beverley Knight and Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones.

It will raise funds to support a new OKRE charity entertainment fund called #KindQueerHeart, which aims to accelerate the development of queer-friendly content to increase visibility and representation.
The cost of the gala has been underwritten by Simon Ruddick, chair of Albourne Partners and trustee of OKRE.
BlackRock and Bank of America have all pledged to support the gala along with Albourne Partners.
Matt Cameron, CEO of LGBT Great, said the group was «delighted» to be collaborating with OKRE and supporting the new project.

«Representation, role models and visibility are core components of our proud work, and this focus helps to challenge stereotypes, ignite conversations and inspire confidence,» he said.
