The Worli constituency in Mumbai has emerged as a three-way battleground. Aaditya Thackeray, representing Shiv Sena (UBT), faces Milind Deora of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Sandeep Deshpande of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
Aaditya, who secured a decisive victory in 2019 with over 89,000 votes, gained prominence for his hands-on management during the COVID-19 crisis. Milind Deora, a former Union minister, is banking on his experience and appeal among urban middle-class voters. Meanwhile, Deshpande has built a strong reputation for addressing civic issues, including housing and infrastructure, appealing particularly to Marathi-speaking residents.
