Farewell To Calibri After 15 YearsAccording to The Verge, the highlight of this design overhaul is the introduction of the new Aptos font, which will replace the long-standing Calibri font that has been a staple in Microsoft's suite of apps such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel for over 15 years. Alongside the font change, Microsoft is also introducing updates to the default style, colour palette, and line weights within the Office ecosystem. Aptos font's debut is accompanied by an update to the default colour palette, with notable modifications aimed at enhancing visual clarity and document aesthetics. The traditional yellow hue is making way for a sophisticated dark green, while a lighter blue is being swapped out for an elegant dark teal tone.
