On pay expectations, she says someone like a technical professional or a senior analyst can earn a great package with the required skills and knowledge.
According to the Employment Outlook Report (HY1) for FY24–25, the logistics industry will have more than 7% employment growth, owing to a rise in demand for end-to-end solutions and e-commerce management, according to Pranay Prakash, Head of Human Resources, BluWheelz.
Talking about the roles witnessing a demand surge, he lists the ones in warehousing and storage, fleet management, inventory management and data analytics. Plus, those with a solid understanding of GST and other taxation regulations are also needed.

As most companies are undergoing constant technological transitions, he says the demand for skills across AI, ML and data analytics will continue to dominate in the coming years. Also, with strong tailwinds towards electric mobility, the skills that would be needed would change across OEMs, financiers, operators, as well as charging infrastructure. This would need managers who understand the nuances of these operations and can adapt quickly, he adds.
