Gandhi said that the Congress and the people of India had made the Constitution and that it was the job of every Congress member to protect the constitution. He further said said Bhagwat's statements imply India was not independent when the constitution was formed.
«The Congress and the people have India have created this Constitution. It is the job of every Congress member to protect this Constitution… Mohan Bhagwat says that India was not independent when the Constitution was formed, but independence came after that. This means that Mohan Bhagwat is saying openly that he does not accept the Constitution,» said Gandhi.
He also alleged the BJP and the RSS of directly attacking the constitution, adding that all the earned money went in GST and that PM Modi gives that money to a few billionaires.
