NTA) has released the tentative answer key for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2024, along with scanned pictures of the OMR answer sheet and recorded responses. For the access of the answer key the candidate need to enter their date of birth and application number.
On May 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 5:20 PM, over 24 lakh candidates took the NEET UG 2024 at 4750 different centers in 571 locations across the nation and 14 places outside of India.
Candidates have until May 31 to file objections to the preliminary answer key with the NTA. Payment of ₹200 per question is required for each objection. These arguments will be examined, and the answer keys will be updated to reflect any findings that they have merit.
The panel of subject matter experts will validate the challenges put forward by the contenders. If a candidate's challenge is determined to be correct, the Answer Key will be updated and applied to each candidate's response appropriately. The updated Final Answer Key will be used to prepare and announce the outcome. No one contender will be notified if their challenge is accepted or rejected. Following the challenge, the experts' finalized key will be the final version, said in the NTA notice.
