Matthew Read for the second season of his series ‘The Gentlemen’. Eight new episodes of the series ‘, which stars Theo James and Kaya Scodelario as crime partners, will be released. James and Scodelario will portray drug empire heiress Susie Glass and aristocrat Eddie Horniman, respectively. Filming is scheduled to begin early next year, with additional casting announcements to follow.
The narrative of the first season revolved around Eddie's adventures after inheriting his father's country estate and learning that Glass and her imprisoned father had been operating a marijuana empire there. Eddie initially intends to free his family from the gangsters' grasp, but as things happen, he discovers he not only has a taste for crime, but he's also fairly skilled at it.
With Ings returning to the role in Season 2. Eddie and his family, which included sister-in-law Tammy, mother Lady Sabrina, and brother Freddy, met many sketchy and perfunctory characters in Season 1. These characters included gangs from Albania and Liverpool as well as the travelling community.
Moonage Pictures produces «The Gentlemen,» with Marc Helwig for Miramax Television and Netflix, Will Gould, Moonage's Read, Ritchie, and others serving as executive producers. Ivan Atkinson is also an executive producer of the series.
