Noida DCP Ram Badan Singh discussed the initiative, stating, «We have implemented extensive security measures, including drone surveillance and special cab and auto services, to ensure a safe and enjoyable New Year’s Eve. Those heavily intoxicated will be assisted in reaching home with the support of bar and restaurant operators.» Police will oversee hired cabs for people who are too drunk to drive, with helpdesks set up at various public spots, such as malls, pubs, and restaurants. Singh emphasized that officers will ensure intoxicated individuals do not drive.
To maintain city-wide security, Noida Police has deployed 3,000 personnel at key locations. Popular areas, including malls and nightlife hubs, will be closely monitored using over 6,000 CCTV cameras and drones. Senior police officials, along with dog squads and bomb disposal teams, conducted a security review on December 30, inspecting prominent sites like GIP Mall, Garden Galleria, DLF Mall, and Sector 18.
In high-traffic areas like Garden Galleria Mall and GIP Mall, additional police forces will be stationed. Garden Galleria Mall will see 300 officers on every floor. Parking for around 7,000 vehicles has been arranged to accommodate the large crowd expected. Ambulance services will be on standby,
