Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna stated that at least 29 arrests occurred over the weekend. The arrests primarily involved looting in fire-affected areas. Among the suspects, one man was caught in a firefighter’s outfit while burglarizing a home. Sheriff Luna highlighted the deceptive approach used by the suspect to commit the crime.
Authorities reported two arrests near Vice President Kamala Harris’s residence in Brentwood. The arrests were made early Saturday morning, related to individuals violating curfew orders. Earlier in the week, an aide to the Vice President confirmed that Harris’s neighborhood was under an evacuation order. Harris and her family were not present at the residence during this period.
