'Papa stopped the war, but could not stop social media': Congress claims win on YouTube, Instagram in comparison to BJP
Congress has reportedly outperformed BJP on various social media platforms, highlighting a successful digital strategy. Supriya Shrinate, while discussing the party's approach, revealed significant figures showing Congress's dominance over BJP. The party's overall reach on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter was notably higher.
According to Shrinate, Congress garnered 613 million views on YouTube during the campaign, a stark contrast to BJP's 150 million views, showcasing a fourfold difference. This substantial difference indicates a stronger connection between the Congress's message and the public, with issues like inflation and unemployment resonating more with the audience.
Shrinate emphasized the party's ability to understand public sentiment, stating, «We have data that shows what people wanted to listen to and who they wanted to listen to.» This statement underlines the party's focus on aligning its message with the electorate's interests, a strategy that seems to have paid off in the digital sphere.
