Paris Olympics' running tracks since the races began. Viewers observed that the running tracks were purple in color, which is a first in the entire Olympics history. Typically, tracks are red in color, and this tradition is popularly followed in major competitions and sporting events across the globe. However, in 2016, the Rio de Janeiro Olympics featured a blue running track, which was also a first in Olympic history.
However, just the shade of the Olympics track does not set it apart. According to The Telegraph's report, the organizers of the event worked in tandem with a fish company to incorporate sea-shell elements into the compound material used to design this running track at the State de France. However, this did not pose any problem to the overall running experience and quality as athletes were of the opinion that the tracks were actually athlete-friendly and is quite quick.

Even some of the Olympic officials are of the opinion that the track is indeed fast and will assist Olympians to set more than a few world and Olympic records here at the Paris Olympics 2024.
