Tijuana, Mexico, by Peso Pluma has been canceled, as announced by Prajin Music on September 20 via social media. This decision followed threats made against the artist through banners that surfaced in Tijuana.
Prajin Music conveyed their commitment to safeguarding fans and the team's safety, stating, «For everyone's safety, we are canceling our Tijuana show,» through an Instagram Stories post.
Similarly, Music Vibe, responsible for a segment of Peso Pluma's Double P Tour in Mexico, also declared the cancellation of shows in Puebla, Querétaro, León, Culiacán, and Acapulco on the same Wednesday night through social media.
They expressed appreciation for understanding and provided guidance on obtaining ticket refunds.
Neither Peso Pluma nor his representative company, Prajin Music, have issued statements yet. However, Prajin Music and promoter Ocesa shared an Instagram Stories post with the three dates managed by Ocesa, providing a link to ticketmaster.com.mx, confirming that concerts in Guadalajara (October 27), Monterrey (November 8), and Mexico City (November 11 at Foro Sol) remain unaffected.
These cancellations followed the appearance of «narcomantas» on September 12 in various Tijuana locations, cautioning Peso Pluma against performing at Caliente Stadium.
Tijuana's municipal president, Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, at that time hinted at the possibility of canceling the concert, part of Peso Pluma's Doble P Tour. The artist also rescheduled his Guadalajara tour date from November 4 to October 27 and canceled a show in Puebla for undisclosed reasons.
On September 13, municipal authorities reported the arrest of a suspect linked to the banners, though no identity or additional information was disclosed.
