«This time on Women's Day, I am taking an initiative dedicated to our women power. On this special occasion, I will hand over my social media accounts—X and Instagram—to a few inspiring women from our country. These are women who have excelled in their fields, brought innovation, and made a distinct mark in society. On March 8, they will share their work and experiences with the nation. The platform may be mine, but the stories, achievements, and challenges will be theirs,» Modi announced.
Encouraging participation, he added, «If you want to be part of this unique opportunity, apply through the special forum created on the NaMo app and spread your message to the world through my social media accounts.»
This initiative follows a similar gesture in 2020, when Modi handed over his social media accounts to seven leading women from various fields on International Women’s Day.
With millions of followers on platforms like X, YouTube, and Instagram, Modi is one of the most-followed global leaders on social media, making this initiative a powerful platform for amplifying women’s voices.
