Netflix Debut Delayed
Originally set to premiere on Netflix on February 23, 2023, Pokémon Horizons: The Series faced a delay, with the new release date scheduled for March 7, 2024. Although not available globally, the United States and the United Kingdom, where the BBC acquired broadcasting rights, are confirmed carriers.
Plot Liko commences her journey at Indigo Academy in Kanto, accompanied by her first Pokémon, Sprigatito. She allies with fellow trainer Roy and his partner Fuecoco, forming a team with the Rising Volt Tacklers. Their travels unfold across the Pokémon world, constantly pursued by the rival group, the Explorers, eager to obtain Liko's mysterious pendant.
Ash Ketchum's Absence
Contrary to the long-standing tradition, Ash Ketchum and Pikachu are absent in Pokémon Horizons: The Series, concluding their 25-year journey in Pokémon Ultimate Journeys.
