In a social media post, Shah said that the people of Delhi have responded to the dirty Yamuna, dirty drinking water, broken roads, overflowing sewers and liquor shops open in every street with their votes.
The home minister said that Delhi will now become an ideal capital under PM Modi's leadership.
«Delhiites have shown that the public cannot be mislead by repeated false promises. The public has responded to the dirty Yamuna, dirty drinking water, broken roads, overflowing sewers and liquor shops open in every street with their votes. I heartily congratulate all the workers of BJP who worked day and night for this grand victory in Delhi, BJP National President Mr JP Nadda ji and State President Virendra Sachdeva ji. Be it the respect for women, the self-respect of unauthorized colony residents or the immense possibilities of self-employment, Delhi will now become an ideal capital under the leadership of Modiji,» Shah said in a social media post.
As per EC's trends, BJP has won five seats and leading in 43 other seats in the 70-member Assembly. AAP has won five seats, but is leading only in 17 more seats.
