A fascinating cosmic event occurred on Thursday night as the rare comet, which won't be seen again for tens of thousands of years. NASA has told us that this ancient comet has made its close alignment to Earth, which has originated from beyond the solar system.
According to NASA, the Comet C/2023 A3 is also known as the Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet, and it was first seen from Earth on October 14 in 2024.
However, the International Space Station witnessed it on September 28, when the comet was 44 million miles away. The first comet came from Oort Cloud, and as per NASA, it is a giant spherical ball and it is made up of icy pieces of space debris, as specified in Forbes.
