Jon Bon Jovi has revealed that he did not have a perfect life in the 1980’s even as his music band grew in popularity. The startling confession was made during the “Halfway There”, which is an interview conducted by Michael Strahan for ABC.
In the 1980’s, his band the Bon Jovi began and soon became a mass hit among those who like rock music. He has released over 15 albums with his band and 2 solo albums.
According to the singer, his popularity resulted in a bit of over indulgence when it came to matters of relationships. In the interview he stated he was a rock star and not a saint and there were many female fans with whom he had many short relationships with. He also reflected that it wasn’t worth it. However, he did not get into details regarding any of these matters.
The ”Bad Medicine” singer had started dating his wife in the 1980’s and the couple tied the knot in 1989. He praised his wife Dorothea Hurley whom he praises for holding the fort in tough times.
He stated that they had a system of giving each other frank feedbacks and being there for each other in tough times.
The couple got married in secrecy even as the fans had no idea about the wedding, only to realize much later about the happenings.
Finally, describing his current state of marital ties, he stated that there was no need for any rules and being with one another is the biggest pill for happiness.
