RuPay JCB debit and credit card cashback offer: All you need to know
Customers using RuPay JCB debit and credit cards can now avail of 25% cashback on purchases made at retail stores in eight countries — Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Spain the USA. RuPay has joined hands with with JCB International Co. Ltd for this special offer.
This limited-period offer will be valid from May 1, 2024, to July 31, 2024, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) says in a press release dated April 30, 2024. You can get a maximum cashback of Rs 3,000 per transaction, the NPCI says. The overall limit of cashback will be Rs 15,000 per card during the offer period.
NPCI further adds, “With the onset of the summer and accompanying academic holidays, we expect an influx of Indian tourists travelling to exciting destinations around the world. In line with this, and the growing demand for RuPay credit cards, we are thrilled to announce the latest leg of the RuPay JCB cashback campaign. Furthermore, with a growing international acceptance network for RuPay, we hope to continue providing such attractive offers in more regions in the future.”
Do keep in mind that the offer is available only in an in-store purchase — a face-to-face Point of Sale transaction made at a merchant location.
