Ryan Gosling declares love for Eva Mendes with 'E' pendant at 'Barbie' premiere in Los Angeles
Ryan Gosling is professing his love for actress-partner Eva Mendes on the pink carpet for the world premiere of 'Barbie' in Los Angeles, California during the weekend. To honour his other half, the actor expressed his gratitude through his attire in a subtle way. Gosling opted for a pastel pink suit by Gucci to pay homage to the candy-coated movie, but his choice of jewellery was dedicated to Mendes.
He wore a small pendant showcasing the letter 'E' (short for Eva) — styled like the big pink 'B' for 'Barbie'. Conceptualised by celebrity stylist Mark Avery, Gosling's Barbie 'E' pendant was created by Hollywood 3D Printing. From reposting director Greta Gerwig's glowing comments to wearing a T-shirt with her partner's face on it, the 49-year-old actress has been Gosling's biggest cheerleader throughout the promotion of 'Barbie'.
She has been doing her bit to promote him and the film while the actor is busy touring around the world. A couple of days ago, Mendes took to Instagram to praise her longtime boyfriend and wrote, «Mi Hombre. Mi Vida...To say he's the greatest actor I've ever worked with is an understatement.» The People magazine reported that the 'E' pendant was Gosling's way of thanking her for everything.
According to People, Mendes and Gosling met on the sets of 'The Place Beyond the Pines' in 2011 and started dating. The couple never married, but share two children — Esmeralda (eight) and Amada (seven) — born in 2014 and 2016, respectively. The duo have been extremely private about their personal lives, but the 'Barbie' tour shares a glimpse into their relationship.
