During his show at Massey Theatre in Vancouver, Raina subtly alluded to the controversy without making direct references. He lightheartedly shared a witty conversation he had with his comedian friend Tanmay Bhat, focusing on how the incident affected their eating habits. Recounting the exchange, Raina humorously recalled, “I had a chat with Tanmay Bhat bhai and asked him, ‘When such controversies erupt, do they completely kill your appetite?’ To which he responded, ‘Yes, you lose your hunger in such situations.’ I then jokingly asked, ‘Then how did you end up gaining so much weight?’” His sharp-witted remark sent the audience into fits of laughter, with cheers filling the auditorium.
