In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 5.23 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.59 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.49 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
