The NSE Nifty index traded 34.46 points up at 21653.15, while BSE Sensex was up 108.37 points at 71766.08 as of 11:15AM(IST)on January 11.
In the Nifty index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 3.34 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.82 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.54 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.29 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.00 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.67 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent) were among the top losers.
