In the Nifty index, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.59 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 1.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.
