Arthur Conan Doyle, the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes holds the Guinness World Record for the highest number of onscreen adaptations of its characters. Earlier, CBS announced a Sherlock Holmes-themed spinoff series dubbed 'Watson'. The series will focus on the detective's friend and companion Dr. John Watson after the detective’s death. Now CW has decided to add one more adaptation. It will soon come out with an adaptation called 'Sherlock & Daughter'.
According to 'Screenrant', Sherlock Holmes (David Thewlis) is shocked when he is confronted by a woman (Blu Hunt) who claims to be his daughter. The mystery thriller puts the great detective out of his comfort zone. After her mother’s mysterious murder, the woman learns her missing father may be the legendary detective. They belong to completely different backgrounds, but they work together to solve a global conspiracy, crack her mother’s murder, and find out for sure if she is Sherlock’s daughter.

Irene Adler, whom countless adaptations would depict as Sherlock’s sole love interest, appeared only once in one of Conan Doyle’s stories. She never actually embarked on a romantic relationship with the detective.
