Shivraj Singh Chouhan to allocate 8,21,000 more houses for Madhya Pradesh under PMAY-G on Wednesday
Rural development minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will allocate on Wednesday about 8,21,000 more houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana — Gramin (PMAY-G) for beneficiaries in Madhya Pradesh.

About Rs 3,726 crore in central assistance has been released to the state so far this fiscal to ensure swift disbursement of the first installment to beneficiaries to start house construction, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Upon timely utilisation, an additional Rs 4,934 crore may be released within the fiscal year,” it added.
Earlier this month, Chouhan had also approved the construction of 3,30,000 more houses under the scheme in Chhattisgarh.
