Software engineer strangles wife, 2 daughter before hanging self in Bengaluru

As per a ToI report, the police are investigating the case and suspect that techie might have killed all the family members, by first strangling his wife and daughters and than ending his own life by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. The victims have been identified as Veerarjun Vijay, a software engineer aged 31, his wife V Hemavathi, 29, and their two daughters — Moksha Meghanayana, aged two-and-a-half, and Srushti Sunayana, aged eight months.

The family members were found dead in the bedroom. Hailing from Andhra Pradesh and married for six years, the couple resided on the ground floor of Sai Gardens apartment Police are currently focusing their investigation on the couple's phones, which were found switched off, and their laptops, in the hope of unearthing further clues. Neighbors have informed law enforcement that no signs of activity had been observed within the flat for at least the last two days prior to the shocking discovery.

The harrowing incident was brought to light when Shesha Sai, Hemavathi's younger brother, visited the apartment. Sensing something awry after several attempts to contact his sister went unanswered, Shesha Sai traveled to the city from Hyderabad. Upon arrival, he peered through one of the windows of the locked flat, where he found the lifeless family.
