Reddy demanded imposition of President's rule in the state. He alleged that violence had been perpetrated by the ruling TDP cadres. Reddy had invited all political parties to highlight the attacks. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders Sanjay Raut and Priyanka Chaturvedi, Trinamool's Nadimul Haq and AIADMK's M Thambidurai were among those who condemned the alleged attacks.
In response, TDP MPs held a press conference and accused Reddy of «diversion politics».
