Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

Rama Phosphates(up 3.86%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 3.36%), Paradeep Phosphates(up 2.86%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 2.33%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.99%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.79%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 1.12%), Coromandel International(up 0.84%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.80%) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.73%) stood among the top gainers. ZUARIAGRO(down 1.00%), Aries Agro(down 0.75%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.51%) and National Fertilizer(down 0.14%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 135.35 points up at 19517.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 480.57 points at 65721.25. Cipla(up 3.77%), IndusInd Bank(up 3.31%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.84%), Wipro(up 2.3%), Bharti Airtel(up 2.06%), Axis Bank(up 1.79%), HCL Technologies(up 1.67%), Coal India(up 1.61%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.5%) and LTIMindtree Ltd(up 1.46%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
