Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

Sikko Industries(up 3.82%), Rama Phosphates(up 2.25%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 0.32%) were among the top gainers. Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 5.33%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 4.74%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 3.46%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 2.60%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 2.18%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.94%), Aries Agro(down 1.79%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.70%), National Fertilizer(down 1.64%) and Madras Fertlizers(down 1.64%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 114.7 points down at 19313.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 323.81 points at 64998.84 at around 10:29AM. Hindustan Unilever(up 0.77%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.74%), Nestle India(up 0.61%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.56%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.37%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.37%), Reliance Industries(up 0.35%), Infosys(up 0.3%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.24%) and NTPC(up 0.02%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
