Emami Ltd.(down 7.72%), Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd.(down 1.71%), Godrej Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.41%), Jyothy Labs Ltd.(down 1.35%), Bikaji Foods International Ltd.(down 1.26%), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(down 1.23%), Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd.(down 1.16%), Heritage Foods Ltd.(down 0.88%), Honasa Consumer Ltd.(down 0.86%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.69%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 144.96 points at 24276.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 445.29 points at 80248.08.
