Stock market update: Mining stocks mixed as market falls
Oriental Trimex(up 11.35%), Ashapura Minechem(up 2.95%), Lexus Granito(up 2.38%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 1.63%), NMDC Ltd(up 0.53%) and Pokarna(up 0.17%) were among the top gainers. Madhav Marbles and Granites(down 3.67%), KIOCL(down 2.06%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 1.35%), MOIL(down 1.09%), Coal India(down 1.06%) and Aro Granite Industries(down 0.64%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 121.35 points down at 19306.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 322.63 points at 65000.02 at around 10:39AM. Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.75%), Hindustan Unilever(up 0.62%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.41%), Nestle India(up 0.4%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.37%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.3%), Infosys(up 0.29%), Reliance Industries(up 0.15%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.01%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
