Stock market update: Nifty IT index falls 0.19%

Shares of Coforge Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 0.6 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, MphasiS Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent), L&T Technology Services Ltd.(down 0.61 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent), Persistent Systems Ltd.(down 0.49 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty IT index closed 0.19 per cent down at 42139.85.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 36.1 points at 24399.4, while the BSE Sensex stood down 16.82 points at 80065.16.
