Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index 0.04% in an upbeat market
Lupin Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 0.65 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.35 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.26 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.26 per cent) were among the top gainers.
J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent), Granules India Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent) and Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was 0.04 per cent at 22550.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 31.05 points at 23758.7, while the BSE Sensex was 47.07 points at 78519.94.
