Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.16 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.1 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.67 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.66 per cent) and DLF(up 0.61 per cent) were among the top gainers. Phoenix Mills(down 0.64 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.44 per cent at 535.8 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 76.85 points at 19388.15, while the BSE Sensex was down 248.47 points at 65290.95.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Indian Railway Fin, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
