Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.19% in an upbeat market

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.56 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.42 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.33 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(up 0.3 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.42 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.17 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 0.15 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.06 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.19 per cent at 1040.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 57.9 points at 24828.1, while the BSE Sensex was up 174.59 points at 81079.89.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
Shares of Reliance Power, Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power, Alok Industries and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Awfis Space Solution, Transport Corp, Gujarat Apollo, Rane Eng Valve and Shyam Metalics hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Saraswati Saree Depo, ABM International, GIR Natureview and 3rd Rock MultiMedia hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
