Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 28.0 points to 22307.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Sindhu Trade, GRM Overseas, Marshall Machines, BGR Energy and Bohra Industries, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, Nestle India, Britannia, Bajaj Finance and ICICI Bank were among top gainers, while Power Grid, NTPC, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ and Coal India Ltd traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 20.36 points up at 73688.32 at 10:49AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Tobacco, Telecommunications, IT Software, ReIT and InvIT sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, Defence, Miscellaneous and Logistics sectors.
