Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 245.61 points to 24651.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Nandani Creation, GIR Natureview, IndInfravit Trust, 3rd Rock MultiMedia and Sri Adhikari, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 41 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 9 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, Tata Steel, Apollo Hospital, Coal India Ltd and Shriram Finance were among top gainers, while Tata Consumer, Axis Bank, Nestle India, HDFC Bank and ONGC traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 673.97 points up at 80713.77 at 11:15AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in sectors, while selling was visible in sectors.
