In a YouTube video, the two were seen discussing diet do’s and don’ts. While the celeb nutritionist emphasised the importance of eating “Ghar ka khaana” (home-cooked food), Murty admitted that she believes in eating food that makes her happy but mostly avoids high-calorie dishes.

Sudha Murty shared the dietary principles she adheres to in her household. According to the Rajya Sabha MP, she avoids keeping high-calorie foods that she enjoys within easy reach of her table. She deliberately places such items out of sight, acknowledging that self-control can sometimes be challenging. She also emphasized the natural tendency to give in to temptation, noting that indulging in sweets like peda, barfi, or Mysore pak on a daily basis is not ideal, especially since she often receives such treats in abundance. To manage this, she stores them separately and consumes them only occasionally. Additionally, she maintains a structured routine and carefully monitors her diet to ensure balance and moderation.
