In an interview with ANI, Kumar emphasized the need for a shift towards online education. «With the current pace of developments, I foresee a major transition in the coaching sector. Only a small fraction of online educational experiments have been conducted so far. Once high-quality online content and effective teaching methodologies are developed, online coaching will become more prevalent due to its cost efficiency and convenience for students,» Kumar stated.
Kumar criticized the prevailing focus on physical coaching centres, suggesting that students should prioritize self-study and online resources over famous but often commercially-driven coaching institutes. «It's not necessary that only well-known teachers are effective. Students should focus on the content and teaching style rather than just the name of the institution. Mastering self-study is crucial for success,» Kumar advised.
He also highlighted that many current coaching centres are prioritizing profits over student welfare. «Students have become mere clients to these coaching centres, which often misrepresent their faculties and focus more on financial gains than on providing quality education,» Kumar remarked.
