Smarter Dharma, a sustainable solutions platform for real estate firms, has raised $500,000 in seed funding from Zerodha’s Rainmatter, Gruhas and Anthill Ventures, among others.
The Bengaluru-based startup works towards reducing the carbon footprint of companies in the real estate sector.
The company’s sustainability platform and services use a data-science engine to bring tangibility to sustainability right from the concept stage of real estate products.
“Over the years, we have mitigated more than 50,000 tons of CO2 emissions and created business value for our customers. This fund raise will enable us to build our technology platform and business development team to scale across the country. And, this would set us on our path to mitigating a billion tons of CO2 emissions by 2030,” said Sriram Kuchimanchi, founder and CEO, Smarter Dharma.
