Swati Maliwal assault case: Delhi court dismisses bail plea of Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar
Tis Hazari Court on Monday dismissed the bail application of Arvind Kejriwal's aide, Bibhav Kumar, accused of allegedly assaulting Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at the residence of the CM on May 13.
Last week, he was sent to four days' judicial custody on May 24.
Earlier in the day, Additional Sessions Judge Sushil Anuj Tyagi had reserved the order after hearing submissions by senior advocate N Hariharan for the accused, and counsel for Swati Maliwal, additional public prosecutor Atul Srivastava and advocate Madhav Khurana.
The former DCW Chief broke down in Court during the hearing of Bibhav Kumar’s bail plea case.
While addressing the Court, Maliwal said that if the accused is released on bail, there would be a threat to her family and herself.

Maliwal alleges AAP orchestrating «character assassination» campaign
The Rajya Sabha MP on Sunday had alleged that she has been receiving death and rape threats, following an alleged «character assassination» campaign launched by AAP and she claimed that the situation just got worse when YouTuber Dhruv Rathee released a one-sided video against her on the assault allegations.
NCW takes note
The National Commission for Women (NCW) has also claimed that Kumar was called to the chief minister's residence after she reached there and sought details on whose direction was he called.
